We are seeking a detail-oriented, trustworthy, and ministry-minded HR/Accounts Payable Coordinator to support our staff and financial operations.
Position Overview
The HR/Accounts Payable Coordinator provides administrative support in both financial operations and human resources. This position requires someone who is detail oriented, trustworthy, and ministry-minded. This position requires excellent organizational skills, accuracy, and problem-solving, as they support the church staff behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Responsibilities (Approx. 33%)
Manage accounts payable in QuickBooks and coordinate check signing
Reconcile Divvy credit cards
Assist Finance Team with annual budget development as needed
Coordinate insurance renewals, including:
Property
Liability
Auto
Umbrella
Workers Compensation
Obtain quotes for alternate insurance carriers as needed
Human Resources Responsibilities (Approx. 66%)
Process bi-monthly payroll
Manage employee time-off systems
Process benefits changes and enrollment updates
Coordinate retirement account and HSA contributions/distributions
Review and update Personnel Handbook annually with Associate Pastor
Manage onboarding for new employees, including:
Employment paperwork
Benefits enrollment
Training on facilities and finance policies
Assist with scheduling staff reviews.
Manage annual insurance renewals, including:
Health
Life
Dental
Disability
Research HR tools and systems (e.g., ADP) as needed
Process Workers Compensation payroll audits
Track benefit changes required by state/federal regulations
Prepare annual employee notices regarding pay rate and benefits
Complete additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Qualified candidates should demonstrate:
A passionate devotion to Jesus Christ, reflected in personal spiritual disciplines and spiritual maturity

Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
High degree of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
Proficiency with:
Google Workspace (Calendar, Docs, Forms, Sheets, Gmail)
Database systems (Planning Center preferred)
QuickBooks
Microsoft Word and Excel

Position Overview
The Office Manager plays a key role in supporting church staff, ministries, and the congregation by ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, effective communication, and organized systems in conjunction with other office staff. This position requires strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and a heart for ministry.
Key Responsibilities
Office Management (30%)
Maintain office supplies, equipment, and contracts
Answer phones, manage voicemail, and greet visitors
Maintain phone system with Tech Team and staff directory
Record and distribute minutes for staff and congregational meetings
Prepare staff meeting agendas and materials
Document and update policies and procedures
Process and track accounts receivable (e.g., facility rentals)
Evaluate office software needs and research options as needed.
Ministry & Event Support (50%)
Support Church ministries and Governance board as needed
Manage Planning Center calendar and event requests
Provide security instructions for event leaders/volunteers
Assist with purchasing and logistics
Support Student Ministries (communications, scheduling, permission forms)
Congregation Care & Tracking (15%)
Track and follow up on baptisms, baby dedications, and membership
Coordinate Front Door/Next Steps gatherings
Maintain church database (Planning Center)
Run background checks for staff and volunteers
Track key membership data
Facilities Support (5%)
Coordinate room reservations and cleaning/set up schedules
Assist with maintenance coordination and contractor communication
Maintain building temperature schedules
Support building security processes (keys, training, access)
Track janitorial supplies and equipment records
