Chapel Hill Church is passionate about global missions and supports
 the following missionaries...
Vision
It is our goal that every attendee at Chapel Hill Church would feel personally connected to our missionaries and global ministries and would discover God’s purpose for their lives while embracing the responsibility to reach out to others with the gospel.
Mission
We are passionate about finding opportunities for Chapel Hill Church to serve Christ and spread the gospel, reaching the global community, whether here (i.e. refugees) or around the world (missionaries and mission trips). Navigators’ Discipling for Development

Senegal

WEBSITE

Navigators’ Discipling for Development is ministering in northern Senegal primarily among an unreached people group, the Wolof. We support a native Senegalese who currently has an open door to impact three generations with the Gospel and with a life of following Jesus. This person is remarkable, has persevered through many, many trials but is now seen with great respect and admiration. People see something of God in them which is providing more and more opportunities
Goals
  • Start a new small group who are real seekers, wanting to know more about the Holy Scriptures. Pray that they will not be afraid to, one day, accept Jesus as Lord and Savior.
  • Continue a growing opportunity to minister among children.
  • Continue to have a safe home for neighbors to come and visit who are drawn to what they see there.
  • Team up with two Western couples (one who is new to the field and currently in language and culture study) as the Lord leads.

Haiti Teen Challange

Haiti

Haiti Teen Challenge breaks strongholds through a foundation of Jesus using intensive spiritual discipleship, mentoring, counseling, education and prayer at their center in Haiti.
“Building Godly leaders of integrity, so they can rebuild their nation” is their philosophy. For generations, outside governments and thousands of organizations have tried and failed to heal the nation of Haiti. (There is urgency because 65% of Haitians are under age 25.) Haiti Teen Challenge is working to repair the mistakes of the past, by confronting the fatherlessness in Haiti and creating leaders that rely on Christ to renew their families, communities and nation. We are committed to bringing restoration to Haiti through Haitians. Our call is to mentor and spur growth in young men and women through transformation in their relationship with God. HTC students are equipped and mobilized to serve.

WEBSITE

Why Haiti? Haiti ranks 115 out of 125 countries globally for food insecurity. At least 30% of the population are experiencing the conditions of famine. ONE in every TWO children are facing acute levels of hunger. In addition to the extreme food scarcity, hospitals and clinics continue to close and operate without proper resources due to the gang violence and government’s instability.
Despite these incredibly difficult conditions, Middle Ground’s all Haitian staff remain committed to serving each child that arrives at the gate.
By partnering with Middle Ground Haiti, you have an opportunity to make a life-saving impact on children suffering from severe malnourishment.
Thus far, we’ve been honored to save nearly 900 children.

Pierce

David and Jodi Pierce
Steiger International
Worldwide
In the early 1980s, at the height of the European punk rock movement, David Pierce started a Bible study on a barge (called Steiger 14) behind Central Station in Amsterdam, Holland reaching disenfranchised young people of that city. It was there that David started a band called "No Longer Music" (NLM) to use as a tool to communicate the Gospel of Jesus to these young people who would never step foot into a church.
Jodi is the co-founder of Steiger. In addition to her international leadership responsibilities, Jodi leads the Steiger Missions School in Krögis, Germany - a school that provides students from all over the world with the strong spiritual and practical foundations necessary
for a lifetime of missionary service. Jodi, along with her husband David, raised two children on the edge of the red-light district in Amsterdam. In her book "Something Broken, Something Extraordinary", Jodi talks about her decision to leave the familiarity of home and follow God and about the extraordinary life to which that led. Although her life was not without difficulty, Jodi describes her journey with God as the richest life imaginable.

Aaron and Jen Pierce serve as missionaries of Steiger, a global mission organization dedicated to mobilizing followers of Jesus to reach young people who would not walk into a church.
Aaron is the International Mission Director of Steiger International. He is deeply passionate about inspiring and equipping followers of Jesus to live lives of radical faith and to courageously share the message of Jesus in our increasingly secularized culture. His prayer is that God would raise up a radical missionary movement that will transform the Global Youth Culture for Jesus.
In 2023, Aaron released Not Beyond Reach, a practical, action-oriented book that will equip readers to reach young people in their lives who will not walk into a church.
Aaron’s most important role is his role as husband to Jennifer and dad to Asher, Selah, Hudson, and Wesley. Aaron and his family live in Minneapolis, MN (USA)

Ben has been a member of Steiger’s founding band “No Longer Music” since 2007. Marhaban
Marseille, France

We work among a diverse French and international community in Marseille, engaging in the mission of God’s love and grace through both actions and words.
We are closely partnered with a local association called Marhaban who work with the neediest families in the city, the majority of whom are from North and West Africa. Our work with them includes weekly food distribution, English classes, and hosting children and family activities. We are further engaged with the city’s international community through a weekly university student ministry (Café Club), our international English Bible study, and regular language exchange meet-ups. We also serve in our church, leading outreach events and serving as liaisons between the church and Marhaban. Our work is a mixture of Bible-teaching, community development, and social aid, with a desire to serve whoever the Lord places in our path, but especially the most marginalized, lonely, and under-resourced.
Goals
When we think of the future, we always want to have a posture open to whatever God may have for us. However, here are a few things that we often dream and pray about:
• Growing our English Bible study into an international church (Isaiah
56:1-8, Isaiah 19:19-25; Matthew 28:19-20).
• Assisting Marhaban in expanding their programs to better serve
families in need (Zechariah 8:8-10; Micah 6:8).
• Creating a hot meal ministry to serve the hungry in Marseille
(Matthew 25:35-36).
•Partnering with other like-minded workers who can help us tackle
some of these bigger projects.

Brett and Michelle
InterNational Church of Wroclaw
Poland
2024 was a milestone year as Brett & Michelle celebrated 32 years serving with SEND and began our 30th year serving in Poland. Brett has been serving as Missionary Pastor for the InterNational Church of Wroclaw (INCW) since 2018. Despite the frequent good-byes and meeting new people on almost a weekly basis, INCW has been one of the highlights of our missionary career serving people from almost 40 different nationalities. It’s a taste of heaven. INCW is a mission field to the world in one small fellowship. We have the privilege to disciple men & women while they are with us, then send them back to their homes or other parts of the world prepared to disciple others. Specifically, Brett leads a weekly online men’s discipleship (D) group with men who have moved away and desire to continue to grow. He also has a weekly local men’s D group with, at times, 17 who attend. Michelle leads a weekly women’s D group, in addition a weekly women’s leadership training group. Together they facilitate a family group on Fridays. This year’s focus has been preaching through the Seven Churches of Revelation and currently through Ephesians to prepare INCW to become an independent,
self-governing church.
Goals
• Take INCW through the steps to becoming and independent, self-governing church.
• Invest in building up leaders to become deacons and elders
• Search for a Pastor/shepherd to replace Brett as we move toward retirement from the field.
• Potentially, take a 3–6-month sabbatical to evaluate our ministry career, and to pray about what the Lord would have us do in the next phase of life and ministry as we return to the States in 2025

Send International
Croatia
Steve serves as the Director of Scripture Union’s Leadership Lab International disciple maker training ministry equipping, empowering and encouraging emerging servant leaders and multicultural ministry teams serving in Jesus’ Great Commission globally. Currently, they offer training hubs for disciple makers in California and starting in January in Guatemala. Jenny steps alongside women in ministry and emerging disciple makers locally and globally.
Goals
• BRIDGE Training 2025 and 2026: We are currently preparing to reach out into Latin America with our next training hub officially opening in January 2025 in Guatemala. Pray as we seek God’s guidance in establishing this next training hub in Latin America for disciple makers and then either in Africa or Asia the following year in 2026. We are working with our team to have 5 regional training hubs established over the next 5 years if the Lord wills. In the midst of this, Steve is starting to learn Spanish and our website now is available in English and Spanish. The LLI training hub in Santa Ana has plans to expand and possibly open up an outreach stepping alongside a mandarin speaking church or other smaller church in addition to Calvary Hispano the summer of 2025.
• Jenny to complete her training over this next year through Leadership Transformations Selah program and to continue to step alongside women in both group and individual Christian companion care.
• Local Ministry: We lead and facilitate disciple making with young adults who attend Calvary Hispano (Spanish speaking side of church in Santa Ana). Desire is to disciple them and to see them go and make disciples along with the leaders of the church
