Our Mission...

To promote both the spiritual and personal growth of women as they reflect the character of Jesus through service and ministry in the community and throughout the world.

Our Goals...

• To know God

• To know and serve one another (Titus 2:35)

• To reflect the glory of God (II Cor 3:18)

• To reach people for Jesus Christ (Matt 28:19)

• To Help women feel "connected" with other women within Chapel Hill.

We believe naming our Women's Ministries "Roots and Wings" reflects our ministry goals as we want to encourage, nurture, and strengthen one another in the faith (Hebrews 10:24-25) and to deepen our relationship with Jesus Christ (ROOTS!).  Roots and Wings also provides a rich training ground to equip women and offer opportunities for different types of ministry and leadership (WINGS!)

We warmly encourage you to take part in one or several of our programs. We desire to enrich your life through God's Word and the meaningful influence of the lives of other women. We hope one of these opportunities will meet your needs and aid you in your Christian walk. So get ready to spread your own wings and soar to heights only He can take you to!

Summer Bible Studies

"A Taste of Precept"  

What plans are you making for your spiritual health this summer? Rachel Smith will be leading a four week study on the book of  Hosea. . ."A Love That Will Not Let Me Go"  In Hosea you can learn how God deals with those who turn away from Him and about a love that will not let you go. (4 lessons)

This four week study will meet on Tuesday Evenings beginning June 17 through July 8 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  Cost:  $10

"Calm My Anxious Heart "

Are you tired of all the "what ifs" in your life?  Do you want to experience the calm and contentment promised in scripture?  Terry Giles will host a study of the book "Calm My Anxious Heart" by Linda Dillow on Thursday mornings, July10 through August 14, 2008.  The study will be from 10-11:30 am at Terry's house.  please call Terry at 952.322.8549 to register or if you have questions.

Special Events and Programs

Craft Nights
Join the women of Chapel Hill as they gather together the last Friday of each month in the church foyer to enjoy an adult night out of crafting and fellowship.  Bring your craft projects anytime from 6:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.  We will provide the table space and music.  Feel free to bring a snack to share.

“Moms and Kids”
Preschool moms meet weekly to connect and support each other, alternating between meeting at a home and planning an outing.
