Church Profile
Chapel Hill Church
Eagan, Minnesota
Chapel Hill
Church is a friendly congregation of people from a variety of
church backgrounds and family situations, drawing worshippers
from Eagan, Apple Valley and neighboring communities in
Dakota County. With approximately 200
children and youth actively involved in Chapel Hill every week, our church is a lively, exciting and active place to
worship, grow and celebrate God’s love.
Chapel Hill
is a Bible-believing, prayerful church that equips believers to
be effective in reaching others for Christ. We give priority to
connecting and discipleship, and God-exalting worship is central
to who we are. Through scripture, music, drama and powerful
messages, worshippers encounter God in meaningful and memorable
ways.
We develop
ministries that reach the various people groups to which God has
called us in order to reflect Christ’s love to them. We
exist to glorify God by equipping believers who 1) experience a
vital personal relationship with Christ, 2) reach others for
Christ, 3) disciple and mature believers through God’s Word and
4) serve others in our community and the world.
Chapel Hill
Church began in September 1986 as an intentional daughter church
of Berean Baptist Church in Burnsville, Minnesota. The first building
was erected in 1987 and was originally 16,500 square feet. A
6,500 square foot addition was completed in 2001 for a total of
23,000 square feet. With a sanctuary seating capacity of 400+
there is ample room for growth. We have a current membership of
128 with an average Sunday attendance of 300. Our current
budget is $570,000 with an additional $49,550 allocated for
missions.
We are
affiliated with the Baptist General Conference and the Minnesota
Baptist Conference. We have had one Senior Pastor for the past
18 years who left in January of 2005. Our current staffing
consists of an Associate Senior Pastor, Director of Youth
Ministries, Worship Director, Director of Children’s Education
and Church Administrative Assistant.
